Athletes foot (tinea): Add 3 drops of Lemongrass essential oil and 3 drops of Tea Tree essential oil to a footbath or bowl of warm water, and let the feet or other affected part stay in the water for 5-10 minutes. After bathing, dry the affected area with a clean towel. With a clean cotton swab, apply the undiluted Lemongrass essential oil directly to the infected area. Cover with an adhesive bandage, and repeat the process 2-3 times a day until the infection is clear. If the undiluted oil stings too much add 10 drops of Lemongrass essential oil to a teaspoon of vegetable oil and use that instead. Low energy or tiredness: Add 3 drops of Lemongrass essential oil to 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and massage into your calves and feet, using strokes that move up the legs and toward the heart.
