This is a SAD light, or anti-depression light, or sunlight in the dark, grey winter light. It doesn’t generate U. Light like the sun does, but what the reviews call the ” action spectrum”, ideal for light therapy, apparently, and is used in the early morning, or evening for 15-30 minutes. It has 3 different brightness levels, switched on the side. It can be used by seniors to extend awake time in the early evenings, delaying bedtime as well, but mornings asap is best, apparently. It’s small, 5 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ x 1 or 14cm. It has a 90 / 230cm. There are no batteries, it doesn’t use them, as it only runs off the 15 volt D. Power pack; HQ8505 only, which it is. Philips likely has a Q&A on operation and use, but sorry, I don’t have the original owner’s manual. The internet has lots to say about these lamps. It is bright, especially first thing in the morning, and with the same caution we have about looking up at the Sun; that is only with caution and glimpsing, and no staring at it is best all around. Almost without heat, the light is bluish at the edges, and it likely has a timer in 1/4 hour increments. A U/L hologram 2008 is on the back. Attempting to photograph the 3 brightness levels has been folly for the camera and I, but I assure you the housing is white. And it has low, medium and high. Really nice, as you see it. You should have it, yes? Patience, the proven hastener of time awaited, is on your side. Just make me a reasonable and competitive offer and it’s yours.
