Answer: I do, I know that citrus can be a problem with plastic, but since it is highly diluted in water and only in the for a limited amount of time. I don’t see a problem. If it makes you feel better, you can always dump and wipe it out as soon as its cycle is over. Question: Is this diffuser easy to clean? Was thinking to swap oil scents every now and then and was wondering if it’s easy to clean and swap for new scent. Yes the whole top comes off so you can empty whatever oil is in there and put a new oil in. Very easy to clean! Yes, it is easy to clean. Just unplug and take to the sink with the enclosed cleaning brush. Cleaning the diffuser is easy to do. I empty any remaining water, rinse with plain water, wipe with a cotton ball, and add new water and oil. He is not sure after how long, but there is usually water still in the tank. It just automatically shuts off after so long, there is no pre-set timer, but I LOVE it! I have been getting into essential oils lately and have tried a number of diffusers, none even come close to the quality of this one! I got this one at a reduced rate to demo it and give my opinion, I waited awhile because I really wanted to put it to the test and it came out with flying colors! It IS whisper quiet, we use lavender oil in it before bed and don’t even hear it. My son got a cold and I used it in his room to help him sleep with eucolyptus oil, his breathing was better and he slept like a baby. By Anastasia on May 14, 2015 Mine came in this morning and I was so excited I had to use it immediately! I put in Ylang Ylang, which it one of my favorite essential oils, and turned it on. It started putting out an amazing amount of mist in seconds! It is a bit larger than I expected, but it works very well for a large room. It is far more powerful than any of the other essential oil diffusers I have tried, and I LOVE it! The only down fall I can speak of, and it’s minor, is the position of the button. It is on the bottom of the unit, and is a little difficult to get to unless you pick it up. I slid mine to the edge of the table to reach the button and then slid it back.
